Sunday School 

Each Sunday School will now have the option to meet at either 9:00 or 10:30 times! This gives you (and our teachers!) flexibility in choosing which class is best for you and your family!

Children

We have kids programming available during both worship services for kids ages 0 to 6th grade.  At 9:00, we have kids “Sunday school” classes available for each age-group.  At 10:30, kids have their own “worship service” that includes games, songs, prayer, and a Bible message.  For kids that attend both hours back-to-back, we will have a transition time in-between so they can go directly from one class to the next.

Volunteers

We are always welcome to anyone looking for ways to serve within the church. Our new worship times provide more opportunities to volunteer in our ministries. If you are interested, please contact the church and we’ll get you connected!

Sunday Morning

Children’s Program

Nursery (Ages 0-2)

Our nursery is available during both the 9:00 am and 10:30 am services. Our volunteers love on and care for our littlest ones in a fun and safe environment. Each hour we have a short time of songs, prayer, Bible stories, and coloring pages geared toward our toddlers and two-year-olds to introduce them to basic Bible truths and the God that made them and loves them!

Preschool (Ages 3-5 and potty-trained)

Our preschool program is available during both the 9:00 am and 10:30 am services. Preschoolers will focus on one Bible story and theme for the whole morning but will explore that story in different ways and through a variety of different hands-on activities each hour.

Elementary (Grades K-6)

During the 9:00 service, we have “Sunday school” classes for each age-group where kids will dive deep into God’s Word. During the 10:30 service, we have “Kids Worship” which includes games, worship songs, prayer, communion, and a Bible message. We love seeing our kids get excited about Jesus and growing in their relationship with Him!

Student Ministry

Our students are encouraged to find a ministry to serve one hour and worship one hour on Sunday mornings.

Our Story

Ephesians 2:10 states “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Our goal at Brownstown Christian Church is to show our students that they are God’s handiwork and have been created in Christ.
The 2:10 Crew is a place for students to come be a part. A place that thrives to help them know that they are made alive in Christ, loved by God, and called to serve as followers of Christ.

Wednesday Night Youth

In the fall and winter, our 2:10 Crew student ministry has Wednesday night bible study at 6:00-8:00 pm offered for 6th - 12th graders in the 3rd-floor youth wing.

Sunday Night Youth

This is an in-depth Bible study for those who are ready to go deeper into their faith journey
Open every Sunday

Mission Cafe

From 8:30am until 9 am service and in between morning services until 10:30 am, you can find the Cafe open. The Mission Cafe is inside Entrance 1. (The Canopy entrance at the rear of the church.) Enjoy Coffee, juice, milk, and donuts along with great fellowship.  The mission cafe funds helps support mission trips.
