HIGHEST PRAISE

Each year, our associate minister Doug Pogue, returns to his alma mater to help train high school students in music and conduct a national tour.

We are grateful for the sacrifice and mentoring provided and our own young people who are participating.

Please take the time to see them perform live and lift them up in prayers.

Press Release

The Brownstown Christian Church will be hosting the music group Highest Praise from Ozark Christian College on Sunday, June 21st as a part of their morning worship services. 

 

Highest Praise is made up of high school students from all across the US.  They come to the campus of Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri for a week of rehearsal and preparation, and then go across the country on a 10-day tour.  This year’s tour will be hitting the states of Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and North Carolina.

 

Taylor Franklin and Rachel Rogers, part of the student ministry from Brownstown Christian Church, are a part of this year’s group.  Doug Pogue, associate minister, is the instrumental director for the tour.

 

Highest Praise will share their program of music and drama during the 8:00 and 10:30 am worship services.  Anyone is welcome and encouraged to be a part of the services that morning.
