Sunday School is a time each week where we can set aside an hour and really dig into God’s Word. We believe that the Scriptures should be the foundation by which we all rely as we make decisions and choices. God’s word is active and living and holds the answers for all that we need. That being said we offer classes for all ages from nursery through high school. Nursery and 2’s and 3’s grade meet on the main level.  All other classes meet on the second level. The high school group meets in the church basement. Sunday school is at 9:15 every Sunday.

Junior Worship is a time each week where our young people get to experience authentic and relevant worship. Jr. Worship takes place during both worship services and is open to all Kindergarten through 5th graders. All of the elements of our main worship service are present. We offer a time of worship, offering and communion and a short devotion. We also have programs for 2’s and 3’s and 4’s and 5’s during the second worship hour. Nursery and 2’s and 3’s meet on main level, while 4’s and 5’s and K-5th meet on 2nd level.

Brownstown Christian Church offers a variety of special programming. We believe that serving God should be fun and enjoyable, as well as educational. We offer a variety of events for every age group such as: conventions, Christian concerts, choir concerts, lock-ins, day trips, new year’s eve party, super bowl party, service projects, 30 hour famine, harvest party and much much more. Most of these events take place during the school year. For more information check the youth bulletin board. We also plan a full calendar of summer events for all ages. Some of the events that we encourage are: church camp, mission trips, wonderful Wednesdays, day trips and much, much more. We want young people to realize that being a Christian is more than what we do at church but in every setting and circumstance. We want to provide a safe place for young people of all ages to come and see God through the behavior and lives of adults and other youth.
